About Colored Diamonds
An individual diamond’s color is caused by the presence of trace mineral elements in its carbon structure. Aluminum induces a blue diamond, manganese contributes to the pink diamond, and traces of nitrogen result in a yellow diamond. The value of a colored diamond is determined by the richness and intensity of the color, as well as its cut and carat weight. While clarity is still a consideration for colored diamonds, it is much less important than in colorless diamonds.
Choosing a Colored Diamond
While colorless diamonds have long been considered the traditional diamond of choice, colored diamonds are increasingly popular. They can be striking accompaniments in pieces with white diamonds, or set on their own for an even more dramatic piece. More designers are using colored diamonds and creating unique pieces and discerning customers are searching for jewelry with these unusual gems.

About White Diamonds
Diamonds have been highly coveted by man since they were first discovered over 5,000 years ago, owing to their rarity and beauty. Almost pure carbon is the stuff which diamonds are made of. Diamonds form when this carbon is exposed to extremely high pressure and temperature conditions—between 1,200 to 1,600°C, and at a pressure of 45,000 to 60,000 kg/cm². With heat alone, the carbon will turn to graphite rather than diamonds. Pressure is the key ingredient that separates these precious gems from common pencil lead!
This process occurs beneath the earth’s surface, at depths of approximately 150 to 200 kilometers, and takes thousands of years to form. Diamond roughs generally come in 3 shapes: Octahedron, Cube, and Dodecahedron.

Filling fractures with optical matching substances. Fracture filling should always be disclosed and handled with care under heat exposure.
Laser Drilling
Permanent industry-approved treatment rendering dark inclusions less visible without affecting brilliance.
